This remote cabin is located on an isolated peak in the Italian alps and can be used by anyone who can make it there.
The wooden hut was designed and constructed by architect Giovanni Pesamosca in remembrance of deceased climber Luka Vuerich. Late last summer the structure was airlifted into location 2500 meters above sea level along a secluded crest in the Julian Alps. It contains nine beds that offer a refuge to any climbers caught in the regions often unpredictable weather.
